Salah satu perangkat keras (hardware) komputer/laptop yang mungkin biasa kita gunakan adalah CD/DVD ROM atau RW (ReWritable). Tetapi mungkin sebagian kita tidak begitu mengenal atau tahu spesifikasi detail tentang DVD ROM atau keping DVD yang kita gunakan. Untuk mengetahui spesifikasi komputer secara umum, software seperti speccy mungkin cocok, tetapi untuk urusan CD,DVD atau Blu-ray kita bisa menggunakan VSO Inspector.

VSO Inspector merupakan software gratis yang bisa digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi detail tentang perangkat (Drive) CD, DVD atau Blu-Ray. Informasi seperti firmware yang digunakan (termasuk tanggal-nya), kecepatan maksimal serta berbagai fitur yang di dukung oleh media ini. Selain itu kita juga bisa mengetahui informasi tentang keping CD/DVD yang kita masukkan.

 

Beberapa penjelasan tentang tampilan dan fitur dari VSO Inspector adalah sebagai berikut:
  • Device Features, memberikan informasi detail tentang drive CD, DVD atau Blu-ray, seperti : Model, Format baca dan tulis CD/DVD yang didukung, tanggal dan versi firmware yang digunakan, ukuran buffer dan lainnya.
  • Media, memberikan informasi tentang keping CD/DVD yang dimasukkan, seperti : Jenis media, kecepatan tulis yand didukung dengan drive , jumlah layer, kapasitas, dan lainnya.
  • Scan, untuk mengetahui kondisi data yang ada di keping CD atau DVD, termasuk membaca data yang ada per sector.

Fitur Scan dapat kita gunakan untuk memeriksa apakah ada data yang rusak atau error di keping CD atau DVD kita. Jika ada error maka akan ditampilkan di warna orange atau merah. Jika kita ingin mengecek area tertentu dari keping CD/DVD, kita bisa menggunakan opsi dari tombol Advanced. Jika kita menemukan ada error, maka untuk menyelamatkan data, kita bisa menggunakan software CD Recovery Toolbox.

Hide Files and Folders adalah salah satu jenis sofware yang di gunakan untuk memproteksi file dan folder.
Sofware ini telah saya sertakan serial number nya (keygen) untuk menjadikan Hide Files and Folders full version



Saat Agan selesai instal dan menjalankan sofware nya, maka sofware Hide Files and Folders 3.4 ini tidak bisa di buka karena di password. Untuk membuka nya Agan ketikkan "admin" (tanpa tanda kutip)

Pada Hide Files and Folders ini terdapat 5 proteksi yaitu:
- Hide
- Password with context menus
- Password with auto-popup
- Read Only
- Hide name only

Jika  pilih "Hide", maka file yang di Hide akan hilang dan tetap tidak akan terlihat walaupun   mengaktipkan fungsi "Show hidden anda files" pada windows.
Jika  pilih "Password with context menus", maka file atau folder yang di proteksi ini tidak akan terbuka dan muncul "Access Denied".
Untuk fitur proteksi yang lainnya bisa silakan coba sendiri.

Agar sofware Hide Files and Folders ini tidak di buka oleh orang lain, Agan bisa proteksi sofware ini dengan password. Cara nya klik "Option" ► "Password".

Tips mudah membuat software Portable dengan Cameyo

Menggunakan software yang bersifat Portable memang memudahkan. Aplikasi portable bisa kita bawa kemana-mana dengan flashdisk dan langsung dijalankan ketika diperlukan. Sebagian software mungkin sudah tersedia dalam versi portable, tetapi sebagian yang lain belum. Kini dengan software gratis Cameyo, kita bisa membuat software menjadi portable dengan mudah.

Cameyo merupakan software virtualisasi gratis yang cukup kecil untuk membuat versi portable dari aplikasi yang sebelumnya harus melalui proses installasi. Pembuatan aplikasi portable dengan Cameyo sangat mudah, kita hanya perlu melakukan installasi software seperti biasa dan menjalankan beberapa langkah dengan Cameyo. Berikut langkah lebih detailnya :
  1. Download software Cameyo ( 1.6 MB) dan Install di komputer
  2. Setelah selesai install, jalankan program Cameyo, pilih menu Capture installation, maka Cameyo akan mulai memonitor sistem komputer.
  3. Setelah proses monitor selesai, akan tampil window “Proceed with installation” yang artinya Cameyo siap memonitor software yang kita install.
  4. Mulai installasi software yang akan dibuat menjadi Portable, termasuk memasukkan serial number jika software tersebut memerlukannya
  5. Setelah installasi software selesai, klik tombol Cameyo Install done, maka Cameyo akan memulai menyimpan file-file hasil installasi.
  6. Setelah selesai, kita bisa mengatur file yang akan dijalankan begitu aplikasi portable jadi, seperti contoh berikut:
  7. Setelah di klik OK maka pembuatan versi portable di mulai dan setelah jadi, kita mendapatkan file exe versi portable yang langsung bisa kita jalankan tanpa perlu installasi
Cameyo juga menyertakan fitur untuk mengedit aplikasi portable yang sudah jadi. Karena terkadang ada file-file yang disertakan yang sebenarnya tidak kita perlukan, sehingga bisa dihapus untuk memperkecil ukuran aplikasi portable yang sudah kita buat. Perlu di ingat bahwa tidak semua software installasi bisa dibuat menjadi versi portable, tetapi yang jelas dengan software gratis ini, kita bisa membuat versi portable dengan lebih mudah.
